01 Establish a reliable baseline

05 Work through a practical scenario
A mega project that starts with several partially aged pets can require far fewer tasks than a simple sixteen-pet multiplication suggests. Conversely, potion assumptions can make a schedule look shorter than the resources actually allow. Listing owned progress and boosts separately produces a plan that can be updated after every session without starting over.

Compare the difference, calculate the cost of the change and ask what would make the choice fail.
